Hello everyone! I’m Laureen Davanzo and I am so excited to begin a new chapter in my teaching career at Lead Mine Elementary! 

I just recently moved here from Long Island, NY, where I have many years of experience teaching at the elementary level. I earned my Master’s degree from Queen’s College in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. My Bachelor’s degree is from Molloy University in Elementary Education and English. 

I love spending time with my husband, my two daughters, my son, and my son and daughter-in-law. I also enjoy being with my adorable King Charles Cavalier, Izzy, and mini Aussie grandpup, Benny. I cannot wait to meet all the first graders and their families this year! It’s going to be an amazing school year as we grow and learn together!
