Greetings,

I teach second grade at Olds Elementary School. After graduating from the State University of New York at Binghamton with my Master’s in Inclusive Childhood Education, I began my teaching career here in North Carolina as a special education teacher. What I enjoy most about teaching is watching students develop a strong belief in self and seeing them smile. “It is vital that when educating our children's brains, that we do not neglect to educate their hearts. – Dalai Lama. “

I grew up south of Buffalo with my parents and older brother. A fun fact about me is that I am an Irish citizen through my dad’s side of the family. When I’m not at school, I enjoy perusing used bookstores, hiking, being outside, watching old movies, and visiting new places.
