I grew up in Connecticut but moved to Virginia for college. After college, I started my teaching career in Virginia. I worked for 1 year as a Pre-K assistant. Then I taught for 4 years in 2nd grade and 1 year in kindergarten at the same school. In 2018, I moved to North Carolina to be closer to family. I have taught in kindergarten at AES for 5 years. I love the joy and excitement for learning that exudes from my students. I enjoy building relationships with my students and their families. I enjoy traveling, baking, crafting, and spending time with my family, friends, and dog, Lucy!
