Hello AES Cougars! I'm so excited to begin my 6th year of teaching 4th grade! After graduating from Appalachian State University with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, I headed to Winston Salem where I taught 4th grade for three years. I moved to Wake County in 2021 and was thrilled to continue teaching 4th grade here at Apex Elementary. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Technology & Learning Design online through Appalachian State (Go 'Neers!) and will complete my program in 2024. When I'm not busy teaching and learning, I love to spend my time reading, cooking, checking out local arts, and hanging out with my cat, Bailey. I'm looking forward to another awesome year with the amazing AES community!
