• Title I Family Engagement Policy, 2024-2025

Policy Engagement: The voices of our families are important, and we want your feedback. In order to hear from you all regarding our Title I Family Engagement Policy we will:
    ● Provide you information about being a part of a Title I school during our Open House Night.
    ● Provide a link to the Family Engagement Policy & Home-School Compact on our school website, a paper copy if requested, and a link to a Google Form for feedback and suggestions.
Shared Responsibilities for High Student Achievement: The shared responsibility expectations are reflected and presented in our Home-School Compact.
Building Capacity for Engagement: Supporting both our families and staff in growing their capabilities for engagement is crucial to our success. In order to ensure this happens, we will:
    ● Host Meet the Teacher in August
    ● Host Kindergarten Orientation
    ● Host Open House in September
    ● Advocate, Educate, and inform our families about what the Parent Teacher Association is and what it does for our school community in hopes of encouraging our parents to support and ensure that we have a fully functioning PTA.
    ● Provide two student-led conferences for families, either in person or virtual. One held in the Fall and one in the Spring.
    ● Provide opportunities for families and students to engage with the school in Academic Support, Highlighting Cultures in our school, and Celebrating student achievement on a quarterly basis to include achievements in behavior, academics, and attendance.
Accessibility: In carrying out family engagement, all opportunities need to be accessible to parents of limited English proficiency and parents of students with disabilities. Family engagement efforts will be designed to include flexible meeting times along with translation when possible.
