Spring 2026 Events
Wake Tech has campus tours scheduled throughout the year, as well as virtual sessions for prospective students. The Spring 2026 Open House is scheduled for April 11, 9am-12pm, at the Northern Wake Campus and Health Sciences Campus. You can also watch the Recordings from the Virtual Wake Tech Open House.
Game Plan: Future is hosting the Bull City in Black: HBCU Showcase on February 7 from 12-3pm at the Emily K Center in Durham. The program includes workshops on navigating college as a first-generation student, affording an HBCU education, and student experiences at HBCUs.

- NACAC Virtual College Fairs: NACAC holds virtual national college fairs throughout the year.
- Wake County Public Libraries host a series of college preparation virtual workshops, presented by CFNC and the Princeton Review.
- College Board hosts BigFuture Live, where career experts and college reps will answer your questions about taking the best first step after high school. Virtual events are happening throughout the semester.
- College Board hosts virtual Real Talk events, connecting with Black colleges and career planning experts on a variety of topics.
Recorded Fairs & Presentations
- The UNC System Virtual Open House from October 2025 has posted the recordings. Admissions counselors from each institution shared helpful information about the admissions process and current students from each university shared their college experience and answered questions.
- CFNC has posted the recording of their annual 9th and 10th Grade Kickoff to College from December 5. CFNC experts shared tips and resources to support 9th & 10th grade students on their path to college, scholarships, and a bright future!
- All of North Carolina's 36 independent colleges and universities have campus tour videos.
