The BES Comic Book Club is Back!
ABOUT THE CLUB
Limited to twenty (20) student members and under the guidance of its teacher /mentors, the Beaverdam ES Comic Book Club brings students the opportunity to meet with like-minded fans of DC and Marvel Super Heroes.
Students will study the roots of today's popular super heroes and will have the opportunity to participate in educational games where they may win comic books and other super hero-related items.
Students will use computers to create their own original super heroes and stories. The club will view film clips from recent comic book inspired movies and then discuss the themes in these films.
Students will join in structured debates and meet with "Real World" Hero Guest Speakers from all walks of Life. The Comic Book Club will be educational, enlightening and fun!
The BES Comic Book Club meets on alternating Thursdays from 3:45 to 5:30.
