Safety Patrol
Safety Patrols assist the school's staff in morning arrival and afternoon dismissal of students. The goal of Safety Patrol is to allow its members to explore and develop important leadership skills such as responsibility, dependability, and cooperation. As a member of the Safety Patrol, you are expected to consistently follow the rules.
The Safety Patrol is made up of current 5th graders. Students apply to become a safety patrol during the summer before their fifth grade year. Students complete an application process that includes both parent and teacher recommendations. Please contact Ms. Jakara Heyward (jheyward@wcpss.net) for more information.
