Students meeting qualifying criteria in grades K-7 can take advanced academic content in mathematics or English Language Arts through Single Subject Acceleration (SSA). This ensures opportunities for appropriate levels of academic challenge. Only students who are currently enrolled and attending a WCPSS school during the open nomination and testing window are eligible to be considered for SSA.

The SSA Test Request Window for the 2024-2025 school year is April 1-12, 2024. Test requests may be submitted using this form, only during this window. (NOTE that your student's PowerSchool ID is the same as their School Number/Lunch Number). Test requests will not be accepted outside of these dates. If you cannot complete the Google form, please submit a request in writing to Fuller's AIG Coordinator, Barbara Owens.

Students will test for SSA placement for the 2024-25 school year during the traditional calendar testing window which runs from April 22-May 6, 2024. Requests for testing outside this window will not be accepted.

Your request for testing must be documented and will be provided by WCPSS to Fuller's SSA Testing Coordinator, Ms. Owens. You will receive a message stating your completion of the request.  The request must clearly indicate which one subject you wish your student to be tested.
