Ms. Culbreth Prek Blended
Tashawna is a Native of Fayetteville North Carolina. She has a Bachelors in Child development and family studies for North Carolina A&T State University. She received her credits from East Carolina University for her Teaching license for birth through kindergarten. She is a mother of one very outgoing and creative seven year old daughter. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, scanning pinterest for cool ideas for work and home.

Ms. June Haggy, Prek Structured
Ms.Haggy has been working with young learners with social needs for 25 years. She enjoys engaging and encouraging young learners to grow and learn. She is a lifelong learner ( still working on PhD) and likes to help other teachers expand their professional practice ( NBCT Cohort Coach). She loves to hang with her family, garden and landscape and ride her bike.aMs. Haggy has been teaching for about 26 years. She enjoys growing and learning and is currently working on completing her dissertation and research to earn her Ph.D in Cognition and Instructions. She loves spending time with her students, helping them learn, play and grow. She can often be seen riding her bike to work and really enjoys spending time in the outdoors.

Ms. Judd, CCR
Ms. Judd is from Fayetteville, NC. She graduated in 2021 from Chowan University. When she is not spending time with family and friends she likes to shop and try new restaurants. Ms. Judd is excited to be apart of the Hortons Creek family!

Ms. Kristin Todesco, ECS I-II
Kristin Todesco is so excited to be starting her 6th year at Hortons Creek Elementary as the K-2 ECS Teacher! She graduated with her bachelors degree in Childhood Education 1-6 from SUNY New Paltz. She went on to complete her Masters in Special Education with an Annotation in Severe and Multiple Disabilities 1-6 at St. Joseph’s College. She moved to North Carolina in 2018. When she is not at school she is spending time with her family and their three dogs or visiting her family in New York. She has worked with students with special needs for the last 8 years and loves every minute of it. She looks forward to the 23-24 school year and everything that is in store!

Ms. Barbara Draper, ECS I-II
Mrs. Draper is excited to start another year at Hortons Creek. She spent almost 4 years as an Instructional Assistant in various classrooms at Hortons Creek. This is her second year as an ECS teacher. Mrs. Draper believes that every child deserves to be treated equally and strives to make her classroom an enjoyable and welcoming place for all students. She really strives to let all students and adults know that #otherhawksmatter. Mrs. Draper loves to do most anything that involves water. You can often find her paddle boarding, white water rafting, kayaking, or just hanging out at her favorite place, the Outer Banks with her husband and two Great Danes. Mrs. Draper is the mother of 3 grown boys, and a Savta (grandmother) to a granddaughter, grandson, and one more grandson due in September. Mrs. Draper is looking forward to being part of the Hawk family again.
