    I am originally from Maryland and have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership and Policy. I have 19 years of experience in education, which includes 14 years in the classroom and 5 years as a coach. I live in Fuquay with my husband, our two children and a Westie. I have a daughter who attends South Lakes and a 20 year old son.

    About Ms. Burke

    Hello South Lakes Family! My name is Annie Burke and I am the Intervention Team Facilitator. This will be my third year here in SLES and I couldn't be happier to work with you all again this year. For anyone who doesn't know, I am originally from a small area in Ireland called Tipperary. I have been teaching for the past 20 years and have taught in four different countries- England, Ireland, United Arab Emirates and now the US. I have been working in WCPSS for the past eight years. I have a BSc in Applied Psychology and PGCE in Education and most recently I completed a MEd in Leadership and Management in Education.

    About Ms. Alicea

    My name is Magaly P. Alicea, and I am entering my 17th year of teaching, a profession I am deeply passionate about. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, I relocated to North Carolina in 2005. I hold a master’s degree in Literacy from UNC and have experience teaching across all grade levels. This year, I will be serving as the AIG and ESL teacher at South Lakes Elementary. My extensive background in ESL education reflects my commitment to helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed. I am currently pursuing a degree in teaching innovative and gifted students, furthering my dedication to expanding students' potential and preparing them for a bright future. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cycling, drinking chai tea, and spending quality time with my family.

    About Ms. Dunsmore

    Hello South Lakes Families! I am a proud momma of 6! 5 of them are adults and we have one little 7 year old, that brightens each day! I also have 4 grandkids too! We have lived in NC for just over 2 years and absolutely love it! I have my BA is elementary education and my MA in special education! This is my 17th year teaching and third year teaching at South Lakes. I just love our little community. I love traveling, learning about history, cooking with my little one, playing games and anything family oriented. I lived most of my childhood in Germany and speak conversational German and am eager to learn Spanish. So excited to meet you and work with your children! Welcome!

    Hi! My name is Morgan Leithead and this is my fifth year with South Lakes Elementary. I am originally from New York but have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina since 2009. I graduated from Western Carolina University with my masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Working with kids has been my passion since I was in high school and being a Speech Pathologist has always been my dream!!!

    About Ms. Razzaboni

    Originally from New Hampshire, I moved down in 2020 with my fiance to experience the southern lifestyle! We have loved every minute of our time in North Carolina, and enjoy exploring all parts of the state from the beach to the mountains. I graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Master of Occupational Therapy. School based OT is my passion, to help students access their education through the use of fine motor activities and sensory play! In my spare time, my fiance and I love to travel. We have been all over from the east coast to the west coast. I also enjoy gardening, playing tennis, sitting at the pool with a good book and spending time with family and friends.
