Before placing any HELP DESK TICKET please have your student see Mrs. Pew in the Tech Office (back office of Media Center).  Many problems can be fixed in-house thus avoiding delays.

    If your student needs assistance with their district-assigned device, please have them see Mrs. Pew in the Tech office in the Media Center.  If Mrs. Pew is tracked out (T4) please see Mrs. Bonham or Mrs. Roberson for emergencies, otherwise Mrs. Pew will handle upon returning.  In the meantime, here is a list of best practices for your student chromebooks.

    STUDENT DEVICE CHARGERS

    Replacement Policy:

    Students receive one charger with their device from WCPSS.  HCES will provide ONE free replacement charger if your student loses, or damages, the charger.  Eligibility is verified by Mrs. Pew in the tech office.  (Record keeping on all chargers issued began in the 22-23 school year)

    If your student is no longer eligible to receive a replacement charger due to them reaching the third one issued, we must defer the cost of replacements to parents/families as WCPSS will not provide us with a stockpile of replacements and we are unable to fund them as a school.  We do not recommend that you purchase a replacement on your own to ensure the safety of the charger your student uses (wattage, safety specifications etc).
