Ms. Angela Cooper, Principal

My name is Angela Cooper, and I am the proud principal of Rolesville MS! I am also a lifelong Wolfpack fan! I completed my undergraduate and master's program at NC State University.

Professionally, I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty-five years. I have worked with students ranging in age from Kindergarten through 8th grade in a variety of roles. I have been a middle school English-language arts teacher, Middle School Instructional Coach, a Year-Round and Traditional MS Assistant Principal and an Elementary Principal. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Rolesville Middle School.

On a personal note, I have lived in the Northeastern area of Wake County for over 15 years. I have one son and he graduated from Rolesville HS in 2017. We love Rolesville and all this community offers.

Ms. Emeka Henderson, Assistant Principal (6th Grade)

My name is Emeka Henderson.  I am one of the Assistant Principals here at Rolesville Middle School.  I completed my undergraduate degree at Shaw University and my masters from NC State and Campbell University.  I have been in the field of education for twenty-two years.  Before becoming an assistant principal, I was a middle school Special Education teacher and an Elementary Coordinating Teacher (Special Education).   I am passionate about education and want to ensure all students are successful.  

I grew up in Savannah, GA.  I met my husband at Shaw University, and we never left the Raleigh area.   We have two sons (one is also a Shaw graduate, and my youngest is a sophomore in high school).

We spend a lot of time on the soccer field!

Mr. Michael Kline, Assistant Principal (7th Grade)

I hope this message finds you well.  My name is Michael Kline and I am very excited to join the Rolesville Middle School team.  

During my time as an educator, I have taught middle school science, middle school healthful living, adapted physical education, and have served on leadership teams in many capacities including assistant principal.  I have also been actively involved in athletics as a coach for multiple sports (football, track, and women's lacrosse).  

I am proud to say that I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio where I earned my undergraduate degree in middle school education at Youngstown State University (YSU), home of the Penguins.  I earned my graduate masters of school administration degree at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), home of the Seahawks.

I am the proud father of twin daughters.  I love being active outdoors and being with my family.  I also love to landscape and cook! 
I am looking forward to supporting you and your family as we navigate through your middle school career.  I am looking forward to having a great year and working with all of you!

Mr. Thomas "Lamont" Gregory, Assistant Principal (8th Grade)

My name is Thomas Gregory and I am an assistant principal here at Rolesville Middle. I started at RMS during the 2022-23 school year. I have been in public education for 22 years, spanning across Durham Public Schools, Johnston County Public Schools, and Wake County Public Schools. I have worked with students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of roles. Prior to being a school administrator, I served as a Special Education teacher and Behavior Coach. 
 
I grew up in Camden, NC and received my undergraduate degree from Elizabeth City State University. I received my graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 
 
During my free time I enjoy working out, playing basketball, and playing with my son (Michael 18 months). I am a big Washington Commanders and Miami Heat fan.

Ms. Tamesha Thomas, Administrative Intern

My name is Tamesha Thomas, and I am the Administration Intern here at Rolesville Middle School. I am currently completing my second Master’s degree at NC Central University. I have been in the field of education for 10 years. Before beginning my internship, I was a 4th-grade Elementary school teacher in Durham County. I am excited to work with the team here at Rolesville MS and bring my passion for education, and commitment to building student and teacher success to the Rolesville community.  

Outside of school, I love family time with my four beautiful children ranging in age from 16 to 6 years old. Our weekends are spent running around town cheering on each other at band performances, softball games, swim meets, and anything else in between that we can squeeze in!
