Did you know the Holly Grove Elementary Garden grows food for the Holly Springs Food Cupboard?  In addition to the fresh produce we grow, we would like to help stock up all the essential items in the food cupboard, especially for the students' food bags that are much needed during extended breaks.

The HGES Garden Club will be holding a food drive for the Holly Springs Food Cupboard from June 16- June 27, 2022.  If you would like to donate non-perishable (not expired) food items, please drop them off in the front hallway boxes or in Room 1406 (Mrs. Russell's room).  

Needed items: 

• Juice boxes
• individual popcorn bags
• boxes of raisins
• individual microwaveable mac and cheese
• Fruit cups
• individual pop top canned meats (vienna sausages, chef boyardee)
• sandwich crackers (cheese or peanut butter)
• Peanut Butter
• Jelly/Jam 
• Boxed Cereal
• Side Dishes (mashed potatoes, stuffing, rice)
• Canned tomatoes/ pasta sauces

Meet the Teacher (June 23rd for Tracks 2,3,4) is the perfect time to drop off donations or send them with your student to school!
