Can I change my WTCC Program Area after I am admitted?
North Wake offers a program change request period in the Fall each year. Ninth and tenth grade students may request a program change at that time. Students may only change program areas one time and only if there are seats available in their preferred program of study.

What grade level students can be accepted at North Wake?
Rising 9th through 11th grade students are eligible to apply to attend North Wake.

When do students begin taking their Wake Tech courses?
Students begin taking their WTCC courses in Grade 11.

What sports are offered at North Wake?
North Wake College and Career Academy students are eligible to play sports at Wakefield High School. Students must meet all eligibility guidelines and must stay in good standing at North Wake College and Career Academy to participate. There is a bus that leaves from NWCCA to Wakefield in the afternoon.

What extracurriculars are offered at North Wake?
North Wake has over 30 different clubs. Clubs meet twice a month on Fridays during the school day.

What type of transportation is provided by North Wake CCA?
Express Bus Stops:
Parents provide transportation to and from express stops, which are typically located at sites such as schools or community centers.
Students receiving magnet express bus service are initially assigned to the nearest express bus stop location to their address of record with the school district.
