Felton Grove High School is one of a number of high schools in the school district who will be piloting a new program this year that expands the opportunity for final exam exemptions to students in grades 9-11.  We have chosen to engage in this pilot program as a part of our ongoing efforts to maximize the amount of time that students are in class as we believe that greater access to classroom instruction yields greater achievement.

 

While we will talk with all students about the details of this exam exemption process that has been historically limited to only seniors, students in grades 9-11 can be exempt from non-state assessments when they meet all three of the following criteria:
