Student Absences

If your student is absent from school for any reason, you must provide written documentation of the reason for the absence immediately upon your child's return to school.  You may use the Student Absence Report Form, you may send a written note with your child, you may e-mail your child's teacher, or you may call or e-mail our data manager, Cora Lashley at (919) 856-7625 or clashley@wcpss.net.

A Request for Excused Absence for Educational Reasons may be completed if you are seeking permission for your child to miss school for educational reasons only. Please submit this form to the school. The principal will review your request and approve or deny your request.

Please be aware of WCPSS Attendance Policy and make every effort to have our students to school each day on time so that we can learn together.
