West Lake Middle School

West Lake Middle School was built in 1992 on a campus with West Lake Elementary School. West Lake Middle School opened for the 1992-1993 school year with 6th and 7th grades and one track of 8th grade (Track 4). It didn't take long for all 4 tracks to get up and running.  We had all 4 tracks by the 1994/1995 school year.  

The 2022-2023 school year was a big year for West Lake Middle School as we celebrated our 30th year!  It will always be a monumental year because - for the first time in school history - we became a single-track school.

Mission

West Lake Middle School will provide a relevant and engaging education and will graduate students who are collaborative, creative, effective communicators and critical thinkers.
