Mr. Jeff Kleiber, Principal

It is a dream come true that the Wake County School Board has announced me as the new Principal of Cary Elementary, and I am humbled and honored to follow in the footsteps of Mr. Stanton. My goal is to work
in partnership with you to create a shared vision built upon the traditions and academic foundation that Cary Elementary has established over the years while keeping an increase in student achievement at the
forefront of our focus.
The Cary Community holds a special place in my heart as I have spent half of my 16 years in education in the Western Area. Previously, I taught at Reedy Creek Magnet Middle and completed my administrative
internship at Cary Elementary. For the past five and a half years, I’ve been an assistant principal at Durant Road Middle School. Personally, the rest of the Kleiber family are thrilled to become honorary Cougars as
well. My wife, Meredith, and I have a daughter, Bailey who will turn 2 in a few weeks. The heart of my educational philosophy is student-centered learning where all students can be celebrated
for their successes and unique skills. I eagerly anticipate returning to the Cary Elementary family and the opportunity for us to create a strong school culture among all stakeholders with a focus on trust, data-driven problem-solving, and transparent communication.
Together, we will create an inviting and inclusive educational environment for all Cary Elementary students and continue to make our gem of a school community a great place to learn and work.
