My name is Meg Dalton, and I am thrilled to be a part of the LES team as an intervention teacher. I am an NC native and graduated from Meredith College with a BS in child development and K-6 licensure in Elementary Education. I taught for 13 years at Apex Elementary (5 years in 4th grade and 8 years in Kindergarten). During those years, I earned my National Board Certification in the area of Early Childhood Generalist. I was also awarded Jiffy Lube Teacher of the Year for the Triangle area, as well as Teacher of the Year for Apex Elementary.

I stepped away from teaching for several years to stay home with my two girls, Mary Bradley, and Kate. I feel very blessed to be back teaching in my eighth year as part-time intervention teacher where I work with students K-5.

In my spare time, I love traveling with my husband, Brad, and going on adventures with our girls. I also love to go on long walks with our dog, Charlotte.
