Hello! My name is Elizabeth “Peyton” Wannall and I am the school social worker for Leesville Road Elementary. This is my first year at LES and I am super excited and grateful to be a part of the Leesville community. I have lived in North Carolina since I was in kindergarten! I grew up in Pinehurst, NC and went to college at Appalachian State University (go neers!). I also went to graduate school at NC State where I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work. My role as a social worker for Leesville Elementary is to collaborate with families and community agencies to build resources addressing the needs of students. I aim to provide as much support and guidance as possible to families and students, and it is my goal to ensure each student is given opportunities to thrive while at school and beyond! I am also here as a resource, so please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

I currently live in downtown Raleigh and have a 1.5 year old tuxedo cat named Ollivander (from Harry Potter) who goes by Ollie. I love reading, spending time outside, playing and watching soccer, and enjoying time with friends and family. Please say hi next time you see me around!
