Mission of the Business Advisory Board (BAB)
The Wake STEM Early College High School Business Advisory Board serves as a strategic community stakeholder. The BAB's mission is to support the Wake STEM ECHS mission and the early college concepts by:
- Informing Career Goals- Provide exposure to a broad set of career paths.
- Developing Competitive Skills- Support academic and career-related skill growth.
- Building Relevant Experience- Provide real-world, relevant, and compelling experiences.
- Teaching Personal Advocacy- Help students learn to share their stories.
- Enabling a Replicable BAB Model- Share our best practices for use across NC counties
