Clubs and Organizations: The organization of clubs will take place during the first month of school. After club rosters have been determined, advisors will arrange club meetings either before school or after school. In order to start a club, the following criteria must be met: have at least six members, have a club advisor/sponsor, and be approved by the administrative team. Our school offers a wide variety of clubs and organizations which are listed below.Membership and participation in all student clubs and organizations are open to all students without regard to age, race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or other protected classifications.

Art Club
The Art Club is responsible for the beautification of the school. It provides students the opportunity to work on additional projects that cater to their respective mediums. It is also a creative space for students that are not scheduled in a visual arts course.

Book Club
Book Club Buddies is for students who love to read for pleasure and to have thoughtful discussions about new and award-winning novels. Dance Team
The dance team is an audition-based ensemble that entertains with performances supporting East Wake High School, both in the school and the community, with projects highlighting positive energy, school spirit, and leadership. It's a creative outlet for students of all levels to come together and enjoy their love of dance.

FCA
The East Wake HS FCA huddle group focuses on equipping, enabling, empowering and encouraging student-athletes, coaches and adult leaders to impact and influence their campus for Christ. Our relationships with other students and staff will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.

For the Culture
Our Mission: For The Culture is dedicated to advancing the understanding of others while sharing our art, talent, and culture. We also want to make a positive impact on the community. We strive to keep a safe, fun, and inclusive space for students of all backgrounds who need more opportunities to engage with their peers and the school community. FTC is an outlet for students to not only learn more about Black culture but also to build community and morale. (No religious, sexual orientation, gender, or racial exemptions)

HOSA
HOSA gives students an opportunity to learn about healthcare careers and how to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA is for students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs. This club is also for any student interested in pursuing careers in health professions. Students will learn leadership development and have opportunities for recognition at the regional, state, and international levels. Pass It Forward (P.I.F) Club
The PIF Club was derived from the 'Capturing Kids Heart' initiative. The mission of the club is to pass positivity to all Warriors, which empowers them to build positive relationships, cultivate and promote a positive outlook that inspires them to live a more fulfilled life exemplified by the character strengths within. The P.I.F. Club recognizes individuals or groups who are not often acknowledged for the efforts and support around East Wake High School. The P.I.F. Club along with Principal Alston recognizes an East Wake Student Warrior weekly for the entire school year.

Photo Club
Photo Club is for anyone who wants to take better pictures of themselves and their friends. You can bring any camera you want, even if it’s just your phone, in fact a phone is encouraged! In Photo Club, we will cover the concepts of photographic composition, the history of photography, life as a professional photographer, and we will learn together how to take better pictures in any situation. Photo Club will not be equipment or technology driven but will discuss how we can make better art and better snapshots with the tools we have. Spanish Honor Society
The Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica) is an academic honor society focused on Spanish language excellence in secondary education and promotes a continuity of interest in Spanish studies. The society is open to students who are at least in the 10th grade who maintain an A for the first three consecutive quarters of study in the language and have good character.
