Students may enter the building at 8:45 a.m. There is no supervision for students arriving on campus prior to 8:45 a.m.

 

A paid Early Arrival Program is an option (fee based) for parents who need to bring their child to school prior to 8:45 a.m. Please contact our school office at 856-7663 for additional information.

 

Carpoolers: Morning carpoolers are to be dropped off in the carpool loop anytime between 8:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Designated staff will be present to greet students. Carpool students who arrive after 9:15 a.m. will need to be walked into the office by their parent and sign in to receive a tardy slip. Students will need a tardy slip to enter their classroom after 9:15 a.m. Afternoon carpool students will report to the cafeteria at the 3:40 p.m. bell. At 3:45 p.m. staff will begin loading students into their cars as they are called. Parents are not permitted to come into the building to pick up your child after 3:15 p.m. unless you are signing them out from the YMCA program. You should remain in your vehicle and follow the carpool procedures.

 

Walkers:  Walkers may enter through the cafeteria lobby doors at 8:45 a.m.  Walkers should not arrive on campus any earlier than 8:45 a.m. as there are no staff available for supervision prior to 8:45 a.m. Staff members will be on duty to supervise the crosswalk area on Scales Street from 8:45 a.m.-9:10 a.m. and in the afternoon from 3:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Students should not cross at the crosswalk area without adult supervision. Parents who wish to meet their students to walk home should wait in the courtyard area outside of the Media Center.

 

Bus, Cab and Daycare Riders:  All bus, cab and daycare riders are dropped off in the bus loop beginning at 8:45 a.m. At 3:45 p.m. bus riders are called to the loading area as their busses arrive. Cab and daycare van riders are dismissed to the loading area at 3:40 pm. Special Needs Students Students with special needs will be assisted to their morning and afternoon drop off/pick up areas.

 

YMCA Participants Students who are enrolled in the YMCA after-school program (for a fee) will be dismissed to the gym at 3:45 pm.  Activities include:  homework, playground time, group activities, etc.
