My name is Denise Ziemak, and I am excited to be part of the Lead Mine family.  My teaching career started in New Jersey, where I am originally from, but I have also worked in Florida and Texas.  I am currently in my 21^st year of teaching and have taught grades 3, 4, and 5 and have worked as an interventionist, math instructional coach, and lead teacher.  

 

I am semi-new to Raleigh as my girlfriend, Sarah, and I moved here almost two years ago.  We love to explore the city and take trips to the beach and the mountains.  We have a new puppy named Bean and love to take her exploring with us.  When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family, cooking, reading, puzzles, and traveling.
