Hello! I am so excited to spend the next school year with you! Since 2008, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th grades. My own children, Emily and William, were my inspiration to go into education. Once they began school, I began to volunteer in their classes. I knew teaching was my passion, so I went back to school at Meredith College and pursued an Elementary Education licensure.

My husband and I are both from Roanoke, Virginia and relocated to North Carolina many many years ago. :) Along with our children Emily and William, we also have a few furbabies in our family.

Some activities I enjoy are tennis, yoga, reading, traveling, and always spending time with my family.
