I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an Early Childhood focus. I am certified in NC with my BK, Pre-K/ K, General Education K-6 and Special Education K-6 licenses.

Ms. Stephanie Schock

I am so excited to be teaching the Pre-K Blended class at Oakview as I begin my 24th year of teaching preschoolers. I'm originally from Texas and lived there my entire life before moving to NC in the fall of 2012- what an adventure! I taught special education preschool programs in Round Rock/Austin, TX, then full day DD Pre-K at Holly Ridge here in Holly Springs for 3 years, and finally opening the Blended Pre-K class here in 2016. My first group of preschoolers has graduated college, so time certainly flies when you are having fun!
I live in Holly Springs with husband Bill and my stepdaughters, Scarlet (5th grade) and Evelyn (2nd grade). My son Jaxon is 21 and just moved back out to begin his senior year at Appalachian State University and my daughter Marley - "Max"-  just moved out to begin her freshman year at UNC Charlotte- another big adventure! ❤️ We also have 4 little dogs, 2 cats and fish that keep us busy.  I enjoy crochet, reading, hiking, watching movies, video and board games, crafting, and spending quality time with my family.
 
 I am looking forward to another great year of progress and partnering with families to help our students be successful as they start their school experiences.  Preschool is my heart and I'm thrilled to be working with such wonderful students and families!  :)
