Odyssey of the Mind has returned to the Cedar Fork Elementary this school year. It is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics.

The teams are provided with five new problems each year to solve.  The teams work together on the problem they choose and then present their solution at a local competition in March.  The team is also required to answer questions at the competition.  

The teams are coached by parents and community members, and the club is sponsored by Mrs. Chojkiewicz.  In order to become a member of the team, students must be in grades 3-5 and must apply for the team.
