Hi! I’m Lisa Stevens and I have been lucky enough to call FVES home since 2012! This was my first job out of college and I've loved every second of it! I have spent my entire career teaching third grade. I am excited and anxious to kick off a new year and make some unforgettable memories with your child!

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I moved to Apex in 2004 with my parents and younger brother. I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro (UNCG) with a concentration in Language and Communication. While living in Greensboro I met my husband, Mike. We were married in April 2014 in an old, rustic barn in McLeansville, NC. Since then we have added Lincoln, my strong-willed and energetic toddler to our family. When I’m not teaching I am busy making memories with Lincoln (we love making crafts, baking, and playing soccer). I love crafting with my Cricut or watching some of my favorite shows (pretty much anything on HGTV or Bravo!).
