I love being a part of the Fuquay-Varina ES family! I've been teaching elementary students since 2002, and I became an elementary librarian in 2010. I love being a librarian, getting kids hooked on reading, and igniting students' natural curiosity about the world. My lessons are based on the Informational Technology Essentials Standards as well as the eWISE research model.

At home I have a wonderful husband and son, Adam, who is with me at FVES. I love contemporary dancing, gardening, crafting, and watching my boys race.  My family also loves to go traveling and camping. I welcome parents in the media center, and hope you will stop  by to say hi, check out books, and volunteer.
