I have been teaching at Fuquay Varina Elementary School for 17 years. I previously taught 2nd and 3rd grade and am back to teaching our STEAM enhancement.  I am a proud alum of Indiana University and California State University. I have 3 children of my own. My eldest is a recent App State graduate, and my other two attend Willow Spring High School and Moore Square Magnet Middle School. I love Science, Biology, animals, camping, traveling, hiking, gardening and reading. My hope is to teach children kindness and compassion, to build their confidence and to create a love of learning within each of them.
