Classes and Companies

  • You will find a wide variety of opportunities for participating in Drama at Wake Forest High School.  
     
    Beginning Theatre classes learn a variety of the theatre basics from performance to theatre history. They will find a love for thetre and a confidence performing in front of their peers.
     
    Matinee Players classes (Intermediate and Proficient Theatre) perform one act shows for local elementary and middle school students. They delve deeper into technique and performance.
     
    Troupe( Advanced Theatre) competes in NCTC (North Carolina Theater Competition) and participate in several community engagements and competitions. This is an audition only course and students are high achievers that are dedicated to their art. 
     
    All students are invited to audition for all mainstage productions: fall play, spring musical or other opportunities. 
     
    Students interested in technical theater can enroll in Technical Theater I, II, or III.
