Hi, I am Dawn Ackerman and I am excited to be a part of the Lincoln Heights family. I am looking forward to assisting the students and their families in any way I can in the Front Office. My family and I have lived in North Carolina for 20 years now and love it. I am originally from just outside of Rochester, NY.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband Tom, our grown children, Jillian and Jared, as well as our dog, Pebbles. We are huge Buffalo Bills fans. We really enjoy traveling. Over the past summer we enjoyed visiting Italy and London, England. We like checking out new restaurants, working in the garden, enjoy live music and the performing arts. I most recently have been learning how to golf. We certainly keep busy and experience all fun things.

This is my first year at Lincoln Heights and I am so excited to start this new journey. I look forward to getting to know the students, family, and staff.
I love spending time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite things to do is cooking/baking, being outdoors and travel when I can. I also enjoy simple things in life and making memories with those I love.
As a Caribbean gal my happy place is the beach!
