Mrs. Barbara Fair

Principal

 

Ms. Fair has lived in New Jersey, California, and London England before settling in Cary, NC. Her and her husband Rob have three grown children: Nicholas, Alexander, and Matthew who are all proud graduates of WCPSS. Ms. Fair started out her professional life as a Registered Nurse. When her children were in elementary school she started working as a part-time Teacher Assistant and realized that she wanted to make a career change to be a teacher. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from North Carolina Central University. She has taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grades and has held the roles of Instructional Resource Teacher, Magnet Coordinator, and STEM coordinator before moving into Administration. Ms. Fair attended North Carolina State University for her Masters of School Administration Degree. She has been an Assistant Principal at Kingswood Elementary in WCPSS and joined Davis Drive Elementary as Principal in January 2021.

Mrs. Rozanne Todd

Assistant Principal

Mrs. Todd brings experience from the elementary, middle, and high school levels to proudly support the students, staff, and families of DDE.  She most recently served as the WCPSS Senior Administrator of Special Education before coming to the Assistant Principal role at DDE.  Mrs. Todd's own four children are graduates of the WCPSS schools and gave her broad experience with sports, activities, and hobbies as well as parenting through the various stages of growth. She loves connecting with all DDE families and students with an understanding heart from these experiences.  Mrs. Todd has three sweet grandchildren who she spends as much time with as possible and enjoys playing the flute, cooking, and spending time outside with family and friends.  She is honored to support the amazing things going on every day at DDE!
