  • The Emergency Medical Science program provides high-quality instruction in emergency medical care to prepare students for N.C. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) credential. EMS students apply learned concepts and skills in real-world settings through field clinical experiences. Proof of vaccinations, criminal background check, and drug screen must be obtained and provided to be eligible for EMS courses. Students with vaccine exemptions will not be eligible for this program.

    Due to regulatory requirements in EMS programs, students will not be eligible for a 13th-year option.
