Parent-Teacher Conferences
-
A strong home-school partnership is essential for student success. Teachers communicate regularly through weekly communication in the Friday Folder, Twitter, and classroom newsletters/emails. Additionally, face-to-face conferences give parents and teachers a chance to connect and collaborate for the benefit of students.
At Brier Creek, teachers will reach out to parents to schedule a parent-teacher conference at the end of the first quarter and at the end of the third quarter. At the first conference, first quarter progress will be shared with samples of student work and together parents and teachers will set goals for the year.
Teachers are happy to meet with parents at any time if there are questions or concerns. Parents, please contact your child's teacher (email is usually the most efficient way, or you can call the front office) to schedule a conference.
