It is time for students to start thinking about participating in Science Olympiad, which is a competitive, academic team for students in grades 3-5.  Students who are interested should complete the form (with a parent/guardian) at this link https://bit.ly/hces26so  and indicate the events that they think they might be interested in.  Depending on interest level, we may need to hold try outs (we are limited to 30 participants).  The interest form must be completed by October 1st, and we will send more information about try outs and registration to the email address you provide on the form .  Meetings will begin in October and will be held after school on Wednesdays.  Our competition date is Saturday, February 14th, 2026.  There are no fees to participate, other than travel to the local tournament and purchasing a team t-shirt for your student.  Parents should help their student complete the form and make sure students understand the commitment to the team, should they be selected to participate.
