• WTCC COLLEGE AND CAREER PROMISE PROGRMA (CCP)

     Wake County Public School System is proud to partner with Wake Tech Community College in giving high school students the opportunity to take college classes for free while still enrolled in high school. For further information visit ccp.waketech.edu.

    Enrolling in CCP

    Go to the WTCC CCP website and follow the 10-step instructions for new or returning CCP students. 

    * To get an electronic copy of your transcript you either have to pick up a paper copy (from the front desk in student services) and scan it yourself. Or bring in a USB/flash drive to have it saved. A copy CANNOT be emailed. 

    * When filling out your EV form, 9-10th graders indicate Ms. Hamler as your school designee, 11th-12th graders indicated Dr. Inscoe.

    WHAT NEEDS TO BE GIVEN TO YOUR WFHS COUNSELOR:

    * An early release form if you plan to take their class in place of 3rd or 4th periods. (Be mindful that you cannot sign up for classes that are prior to 3rd period.

    * A dual enrollment form stating which classes you are signed up for

    2022 Summer/Fall Enrollment Cycle (New and Continuing Students)

    • New (Prospective) Students: Enrollment steps, resources, and updates for prospective students can be found on the New CCP Students page.  
    • Continuing (Current) Students: Students who are currently enrolled in the CCP Program can now access their Eligibility Verification (EV) Form within the Self-Service Portal within their “Required Documents” for completion. As a reminder, students must submit an updated high school transcript with their EV Form(s). Enrollment steps and resources for Continuing Students can be found on the Current CCP Students page. Students should email ccp@waketech.edu if they are not able to access the Current Student Eligibility Verification (EV) Form(s).
    • NOTE: Please encourage students not to utilize that WCPSS Student Email Address. Students should utilize personal email addresses to prevent any firewall errors/issues.
    • NOTE: Students must submit a Summer and Fall Eligibility Verification (EV) Form if they plan to enroll during both terms.
    • Students must complete are forms and requirements in order to begin self-registration process beginning April 15th.
    • Graduating Seniors can only apply/enroll for Summer Term.

    Virtual Appointments Reminder (Check My Status & Virtual Advising) Students can meet with a CCP Staff Member by scheduling a Virtual Appointment on the CCP Admissions & Advising Page.

    • Check My Status: For any student who is interested in the CCP program or has a pending CCP Application Form and/or Eligibility Verification Form
    • Advising: For any student who is currently enrolled or recently admitted and has questions about courses, pathways, or registration
      • NOTE: 9th/10th Grade Students who are admitted within a College Transfer Pathway are required to schedule a Mandatory Academic Advising Appointment
