Hi, my name is Mary Blankenship. I have been a teacher at LHES for the past 5 years. I am very excited about the changes happening at Lincoln Heights. I believe children should be connected to nature and a great way to get them excited and involved in nature is during the school day.

I have lived in NC for the past 30 years. I have a BA from Salem College and a Master’s from NC State University. I live in Willow Spring with my husband Brian,our son Ellis, our two dogs and cat. My daughter is in Boone getting her BA in English from Appalachian State University. I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, cooking and traveling to new places.
