Hi! My name is Sarah Sumrell. This will be my fourth-year teaching 1st grade at Lincoln Heights and my sixth year with WCPSS. I’m an NC native and lived all across the state growing up – from the mountains to the sea! I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from ECU. Go Pirates! When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family, hiking, and visiting new places.  First grade is an amazing year full of significant growth for students. I can’t wait to work with your family to help your child succeed!
