Please begin to plan for the EOGs. Students in grades 3-5 will take the state assessments over three days, May 13—15. Fifth-grade students ONLY take the science EOG on Friday the 15th. 

Ensure your child gets the proper amount of sleep, between 9 and 10 hours, eats a nutritious breakfast, and arrives at school on time.

 

Hayes Barton 5k Run or Volunteer

Neighborhood Request: Please be sure not to block driveways and stay to the side of the road to allow cars to pass through when waiting in the carpool line. I appreciate your understanding of our neighborhood community.

 

PME Request: Please review the carpool procedures. We have received complaints that our wonderful families are not following the guidelines. Please wait in line on Boylan (do not go around the line) and follow the correct route (Wills Forest to Boylan). The procedures were put in place with input from the City of Raleigh PD to ensure the safety of all carpoolers.

Math Night NEXT WEEK! (Interpreters will be present)

Please join us for Math Night on Wednesday, April 30th, from 5 to 6:30 pm. Families are invited to play math games prepared by our teachers in classrooms throughout the building. This is an opportunity for you to learn about your child’s math skills and acquire resources to play at home. Students may wear their favorite sports jersey/uniform on that day. (GO CANES!).

Broughton Walk for Water Opportunity

Join Brougthon students on Saturday, May 10, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for a walk. The event will consist of walking the track at Broughton’s Jack Spain Stadium, relay races, competitions, student activities, and more. A $20 donation is required to participate and children 5 years old or younger are free. All of the proceeds will go toward providing clean water and sanitation facilities in Central Africa. The Walk for Water 1-mile goal is to raise $4,000 for one latrine,  2-mile goal is to raise $9,200 for one well, and 3-mile goal is to raise $12,500 for a well and a latrine.

Third Quarter Report Cards

Third quarter report cards will be sent home on Monday, March 31st. Please review your child’s grades and the teacher's comments. Reach out to the teacher with any questions. We work best when we work together.

Boosterthon Fun Run | Save the Dates!

We are excited to introduce this year's primary fundraiser, the Partnership Elementary Fun Run. We aim to raise $20,000 to enhance classroom support, such as science kits and interactive learning subscriptions, new library furniture, and Responsive Classroom training for teachers, to benefit ALL students at Partnership Elementary.

 

We're excited about this fundraising experience because it offers three essentials to our school community:

     1️⃣ User-friendly fundraising platform

     2️⃣ Character enrichment program

     3️⃣ Fitness-focused events that include ALL of our students

 

You will work together as a family, asking friends and family to donate on your student's donation page at MyBooster.com. The best part is that you can still support our school just by SHARING about the fundraiser!

 

Students will also experience a fantastic character enrichment program called Castle Quest, which teaches students how to be brave and live with character.
