Mr. Graves, School Counselor

 

Hello and warm greetings to all NFP parents and students. My name is Mr. Gregg Graves, and I will be the school counselor for grades 3-5. I am originally from the state of Maryland. In fact I graduated from Maryland in 1990 with a degree in elementary education. I taught third grade in Montgomery County for five very enjoyable years. My wife and I moved to North Carolina in 1995 where I began graduate school to become a school counselor. I graduated from N.C. State in 1997 and since then I have been a school counselor at three different Wake County schools: Fox Road Elementary, N. Forest Pines Elementary, and Heritage Middle.  How amazing it is for me to return to my all-time favorite school (2007-2012). I look forward to my role with your children.  Teaching thoughtful SEL lessons, collaborating with teachers and parents, and counseling students when needed are all things I enjoy and excel at in my profession.
