Hello, North Forest Pines Elementary community. I'm thrilled to be joining NFP. I have five years of experience as an elementary school counselor in the Wake County public school system. My family and I live in Wake Forest. I have a husband and two boys in elementary and middle school. I love spending time with my family and watching my boys grow up. I also love living in Wake Forest and enjoy walking the greenway, visiting local coffee shops, practicing yoga, and being outdoors. 

I am passionate about connecting with families and students to improve the school experience. I focus on teaching social skills, understanding emotions, and developing individual strategies for managing and understanding feelings. These skills are just as critical as reading, writing, and math. My role as a counselor is about counseling and advocating for our students. I am committed to working collaboratively with the school administration, staff, and families to ensure that every student at NFP Elementary can reach their full potential.
