Greetings Fuller Falcon Families, 

I hope everyone had a joyful, restful winter break filled with special moments, laughter, and time to recharge. We are so excited to welcome our students back to school as we begin a brand-new year—2026!

 

🧥 Lost & Found Reminder 🧤

Our Lost & Found is overflowing with winter coats, jackets, hats, and other cold-weather items! We are hopeful that over the next few weeks, students will take time to check the Lost & Found and be reunited with their belongings.

📅 Important Deadline:
Any items not claimed by Thursday, January 22 will be bagged and donated to support our community.

Families are encouraged to remind students to look for missing items as soon as possible.

🎓✨ AIG NOMINATIONS – SUBMIT BY TODAY! ✨🎓Fuller 2025-26 Spring AIG Nomination Form

Families, this is a friendly reminder that today is the final day to submit nominations for the Academically and/or Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Program at Fuller.
🗓 Nomination Deadline: Monday, January 5, 2026 (TODAY!)

📚 Who Can Be Nominated?
✅ 4th & 5th grade students not currently identified as AIG
✅ 4th & 5th grade students interested in adding a second AIG area
✅ 3rd grade students new to Wake County who did not test last year

🚫 Who Should NOT Be Nominated?
❌ Students already identified as AIG, AG, or IG in both reading and math
❌ Second graders (all 2nd grade students are assessed annually)

✨ If you believe your child demonstrates advanced academic or intellectual potential, please be sure to submit your nomination before the end of today.

Parents, are you interested in learning more about Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) for your child? Join us for an important Virtual Information Session to get all the details!

🎥 What to Expect:

We’ll watch a Parent Presentation Video explaining SSA and then open the floor for a Q&A session to answer your questions. This is a great opportunity to learn how SSA can support your child's academic growth!

We will view a slide Parent Presentation covering all the details about testing and the AIG program, followed by a Q&A session. This is your opportunity to get all the information you need to support your child's educational journey!

• Cogat testing is for all grade 2 students.

🦅 Attention Fuller 5th Grade Families! 🦅

If your rising middle schooler plans to continue in a MAGNET school, please read carefully — even if your child currently attends Fuller Magnet and lives in our base area.

✅ ALL students who wish to remain on a Magnet pathway MUST submit a Magnet application.
