North Wake College and Career Academy will offer the PSAT/NMSQT in-person on October 10, 2023 at 7:30 am . All testing this year will be completed in a digital format (no paper and pencil testing).  PSAT/NMSQT registration is open to NWCCA students of all grade levels.  However, the test contains problems with Algebra I and Geometry concepts. Therefore, students who have not successfully completed Math 1 should consider not registering.  

Students who wish to test with accommodations must have information submitted to College Board by August 28, 2023. Please reach out to, Sherry Bethea sbethea@wcpss.net, to request information be submitted to College Board for approval.

The PSAT/NMSQT allows 11th grade students the opportunity to potentially qualify for a National Merit scholarship if they receive a very high score (generally the top 1%). For this reason, WCPSS is offering the test free of charge to those students with a weighted GPA of 4.367 or higher.  The PSAT fee for all other students will be $15.30 and must be submitted prior to testing.  Please complete the link for registration and submit payment via this link no later than Monday September 11, 2023.
