    At Olive Chapel Elementary, we are committed to creating a collaborative environment that ignites a passion for learning in all children so that they reach their full potential.  In doing this, we also want to help students acquire the knowledge and skills that are necessary to safely navigate in the digital environments they encounter daily.

    What does Olive Chapel Elementary Do?

    As part of our morning news, our broadcasters present daily facts, questions, or strategies to their "viewers", our students.  This information is then added to this webpage for further use for our OCE community.  Our teachers integrate this knowledge and the skilled learned into lessons, projects, and/or collaborative activities that require the use of technology.

  • Olive Chapel uses resources from Common Sense Media Educator Program to teach relevant and age-appropriate information to teach students about digital citizenship.  Common Sense Media also offers memberships for families on their website.  Their full curriculum and account information can be found at: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/
