About: I am a North Carolina native and live in Cary with my husband Nathan, and our two cats, Betty and Tiny Pirate. I attended NCSU where I received a B.S in Industrial Engineering and a B.A in German language. After living and working in Virginia Beach as a Naval Engineer for two years, I decided that teaching was my passion. I quit my job and immediately began a master’s program at Kansas State where I studied Elementary Education. I have a particular fondness for STEAM and always strive to inspire new STEAM enthusiasts.
