About: A native of North Carolina, I grew up in Greensboro and attended Appalachian State University where I earned my Undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading Education. I am thrilled to join the Washington family as a 2nd Grade Teacher. I am extremely passionate about creating a safe and inclusive space where children can thrive. I love traveling, especially internationally. Two of my favorite trips have been to Peru and Scotland!
