Turner Creek Fourth and Fifth Grade Student Council Representatives have been selected, and we are ready to jump into action this year! Student Council offers an incredible opportunity for students to plan spirit events, lead community-based projects, and participate in school-wide volunteer efforts. There will also be numerous opportunities for all students to co-partner in the tasks and activities we undertake.
Our meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of every month, beginning on October 8, 2024. Our first initiative will be "Project Ribbit Rescue," which will focus on collecting donations and providing aid to the victims of Hurricane Helene.
PURPOSE OF STUDENT COUNCIL:
-Promote good citizenship and uphold a positive image of Turner Creek
-Plan, organize, and carry out activities that benefit our school
-Foster leadership skills through hands-on experiences
-Serve as a communication link between students, staff, parents, and the broader communityFUTURE PROJECTS:
