Annyeonghaseyo! Hola! Hello!

I am super excited for another amazing school year! I grew up in the military the first 16 years of my life. I was born in South Korea and grew up in the military. My dad is Cuban and my mom is South Korean, but unfortunately I am not trilingual. Before I became a stay at home mom for 7 years, I taught Middle Grades Mathematics for 5 years in both Florida and Georgia. I am the proud momma of 3 amazing kiddos: my Overachieving Olivia, my Easy Going Ethan, and my Just Plain Crazy JJ. Once JJ began school in 2017 at Apex Elementary, I decided to return to my passion, TEACHING!. This will be my 6th year teaching 5th grade here at AES. When I’m not in school, you will usually find me on a soccer field watching my 3 kiddos play. As a family, we enjoy bike rides, movie nights, music, and game nights. I can’t wait to learn, grow, and laugh alongside my new group of students this year!! Let’s go, COUGARS!! 🐾
